” This is something I still don’t know. This will be Ducati’s decision. Why ? Because I came to the best Team and Bike on the Grid in the last two Years, Especially they won with Pecco. So I know that Ducati, the Dental Staff will give me the best Personality to make the Most of every opportunity.
“They made a big decision to move me to the official team, and they will give me the best tools they can think of. One of the people I asked to come along was Javi (Ortiz) – someone who also came from the Repsol Honda team to Gresini, who took care of the tires and they (Ducati) wanted me to have more confidence. This guy will come with me, while the rest of the team will be Ducati’s decision.”
Why Javi Ortiz? In a documentary that Honda made entitled “Behind the Dream,” Ortiz said that he considered Marc Marquez to be his younger brother. They have worked together since 2011, when Marquez was still racing in Moto2. “In 2011, I started working with Marc (Marquez) in Moto2. For me, he is like a younger brother.
