Unprecedented weather conditions have caused flooding across Central Asia, causing a national emergency in Kazakhstan and displacing most of the population. MotoGP does not want to add any additional burden to authorities or services as they seek to help the tens of thousands of people affected across the country.
Therefore, Sokol International Raceway will not host MotoGP on the previously announced dates (14-16 June 2024), and further date updates will be published once confirmed.
As a top priority MotoGP extends its condolences and support to the people of Kazakhstan and all those affected by the floods in Central Asia. MotoGP hopes that the affected nations, regions and communities can recover as soon as possible.
