At the end of the Le Mans race week where three Ducati riders took the podium, Ducati Corse Director Gigi Dall’Igna said that the week after that was a time to be busy thinking about who Pecco’s partner would be. And at the Press Conference in Catalunya, Jorge Martin gave his latest response regarding the latest situation before the Catalunya race weekend where it was rumored that Ducati Corse’s decision would be determined at Mugello in the next series. However, Jorge had said at Le Mans that he thought the decision had actually been taken by Ducati.

“Obviously, I don’t think the result at Le Mans, or Jerez or what (will) happen here (Catalunya) will change the final [decision] about what will happen. I understand Ducati timing, they want to understand what they need, how to put everything together

“So let’s wait, of course next week I will determine my future because I will find out Ducati’s decision regarding my choice. Of course I am happy and excited that many Manufacturers are knocking on our door. This means we are doing a good job.

” So let’s wait, I can’t control what will happen next week so I will try to do my best here in Montmelo and Mugello. Then we will see what kind of future is presented to us ”

Jorge Martin after Le Mans is indeed being discussed by several manufacturers such as KTM and Aprilia as their manufacturer’s tea racer
