Finally, one empty seat in the 2025 Aprilia Racing factory team was filled. Marco Bezzecchi, who currently races with the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, will race with Aprilia Racing in the 2025 season and team up with Jorge Martin on the Aprilia RSGP25.
With this, Aprilia Racing becomes the 3rd factory team that will have two full riders in 2025 after KTM which will be filled by the Binder-Acosta duo and Ducati which will feature the Bagnaia – Marquez duo in 2025. For Marco Bezzecchi himself, his arrival at the Noale factory is a highlight from his dream of becoming an official racer, even with a different motorbike than he had previously imagined (Ducati).
“I welcome one of Italy’s best talents who has shown his worth both in the lower categories and especially last year, in MotoGP, where he had truly outstanding performances and solo wins,” said Massimo Rivola, CEO of Aprilia racing.
“We can’t wait to open our arms to Bez at Noale. The duo that the Italian rider and the Italian motorbike will form is interesting, but the pair he will form with Jorge is even more interesting. Martín and Bezzecchi were our first choices because of their age (26 and 25 years respectively), talent, courage and determination. “With them we can write a new and important page for Aprilia Racing,” added Rivola.
Marco Bezzecchi will join the Aprilia project at the age of 25, after completing three years in MotoGP where he was always associated with Valentino Rossi’s VR46 team. So far, Bezz has been able to score up to three wins in the primary class, all in the 2023 season, where he finished third in the final MotoGP standings table, precisely behind his potential new teammate in 2025, Jorge Martín.
