PECCO BAGNAIA Wins the 2024 Mugello MotoGP Race

Jorge Martin started again from pole position in the 2024 Mugello MotoGP Grand Prix race, followed by Maverick Vinales and Marc Marquez in the front row. Pecco Bagnaia had to start from 5th position due to receiving a penalty.
The Mugello track is in dry conditions with track surface temperatures reaching 40°C where the combination of Michelin tires used by racers is generally slick. A very good start was made by Pecco who immediately took the lead after T1 entered T2.

Lap 2 Pecco led 0.3 seconds in front of Martin
Lap 3 Pecco was still 0.3 seconds from Martin, Marc P4
Lap 4 is 0.4 seconds between Pecco and Martin
Lap 5 is still Pecco, Martin and Enea in the Top-3
Lap 6 Pecco leads 0.7 seconds from Martin

Lap 7 Pecco is still leading
Lap 8 Pecco leads 0.8 seconds from Martin
Lap 9 Pecco 0.7 seconds from Martin
Lap 10 Marc Marquez started to get closer to Bastianini
Lap 11 Martin started to get closer to Pecco, the distance was only 0.5 seconds
Lap 12 was still Pecco, Martin, Bastianini and Marc in the leading pack

Lap 13 Pecco regained 0.6 seconds and continued to open the gap to Martin
Lap 14 Pecco 0.8 seconds from Martin
Lap 15 Pecco still led 0.7 seconds from Martin
Lap 16 is still Pecco, Martin and Bastianini
Lap 17 Marc was still in 4th position close behind Bastianini

Lap 18 Marc moved up to 3rd position
Lap 19 Pecco, Martin and Marc in Top-3
Lap 20 Bastianini got closer to Marc again
Lap 21 Pecco leads 0.6 seconds from Martin, Bastianini has overtaken Marc for P3
Lap 22 Pecco leads by just 0.2 seconds from Martin at San Donato
Lap 23 Pecco leads 0.8 seconds from Martin, Bastianini overtakes Martin at the last corner of the last lap

And after 23 laps Pecco Bagnaia finally won the 2024 Mugello MotoGP Race and earned a solid 25 points to add to the rider, team and manufacturer standings. Enea Bastianini P2, Jorge Martin P3, Marc Marquez P4 complete Ducati at the front of the 2024 Italian Grand Prix.
